An Invitation to Graduation 2017 - HIS would like to extend an open invitation to the Husky Community to be in attendance at the 2017 Graduation Ceremonies to be held in the gymnasium of the school at 13:00 on Thursday, June 15.
Graduation is to be followed by a stand up reception in the multipurpose room on the ground floor where a light meal, snack items, cake,, cold drinks, tea and coffee will be served.
The graduating class of 2017 is looking forward to seeing you there.

Close of the 2016 ~ 2017 School Year: See you Next Year - At long last (or for many of us, at short last), the school year draws to a close. This week will see the last stages of the school year. There will be several events across the week for student that help us to wrap up the school year and bring it to a memorable close.
Monday sees the grade 5 Moving On Up, in which grade 5 students will be ‘graduated’ up to Middle School in a ceremony that helps them to look back on their elementary school years and prepare themselves to join a whole new world of schedules, a wider variety of teachers, some new friends and less recess time.
We congratulate the grade 5 class and wish them the best next school year.
We would also like to take this opportunity as a community to express our thanks for being a part of the 2016 ~ 2017 school year. We farewell those of our community who are moving on to different places and opportunities. We also look forward to seeing those of you who are returning to us in mid-August. May you have a wonderful summer break and come back with a new sense of purpose and an eagerness to face the new school year.

Perfect!
Thank you to all the fine folks of the PTA for today’s Teacher Appreciation Day. We are very lucky to have your support. Friday’s lunch was outstanding and so very delicious.

HIS Niseko Financial Aid Program
HIS Niseko offers a degree of financial assistance to families that show financial need in paying tuition.
We are grateful to the regional business community for the generous donations of money. We will recognize each donor properly in upcoming publications.

Thank you, Niseko High School Students
Last Thursday, the agricultural students from Niseko High School visited our campus. We had fun digging flowerbeds and planting beautiful marigolds. The marigolds were also placed in our student gardens to protect from ants.
After the hard work, we treated ourselves to our annual HIS Niseko VS Niseko High School soccer match. The final score was a 4 goal draw. :)

Upcoming Dates of Note:
June 12th: Trip to Zoo
June 13th: Waterplay
June 14th Rehearsal Talent Show and Park Golf
