Head of School
Cases of the flu are cropping up in the school and we have begun to monitor how many.
According to our protocols, if the school confirms 30% of absences in a class, section or across the school as a whole, we will need to announce closures to protect the health of our community.
Please pay attention to school email or health bulletins over the next few days and weeks until we can clear the flu season.
Representatives of Itaya Construction, Endo Architects, and the Executive Board Chair, met last week to finalize the contract to begin construction of the dormitory expansion.
Construction on the new dorm wing began today, Tuesday, Feb 6 with a power shovel scraping away the brickwork covering the front parking lot.
The structure of the new building wing will be completed by mid-June. Dormitory students will be able to move into the new facilities by mid-August. Finishing details on the exterior of the new wing will continue until August 31.

Every year at the Scenic Niseko Event at JR Niseko. Local teams carve a variety of different snow sculptures for visitors and locals to enjoy.
